Default Targa Top Removal..

I have a 98 coupe and the first time I removed my top it was very easy to do after reading the owners manual first. My problem now is the last two times I have removed it seems harder to get off, like after I release the rear it seems to not want to move, like it's stuck. It is harder to get back on too, like it's not lining up correctly. My order to take off is pop the hatch all the way open, open both doors, and release the hatches. Anybody have any suggestions on what the problem is I am experiencing? I did do a search first. The car is in the garage and on a level surface..Learned this from my C4..

Never have had any problems taking off/putting on my targa tops on the car. Perhaps try treating the weatherstripping on the top and the car and see if that helps.

Never had any problems at all with taking the top off or putting it back on.

The only time it's a pain (literally) is when it's 95 degrees out and I burn the frap out of my hands while handling the roof. I keep a pair of gloves in the back to save my skin.

I've never had difficulty taking it off either.
