Default question about vararam intake

i currently have a 2002 c5 z06. car has a custom cam, 234/246 .598/.612 114+4 lsa and supporting mods intake, headers, exhaust etc...
currently i am running a stock air bridge with the smooth coupler and a blackwing intake. car dyno'ed 414/377 in 115*weather

im getting ready to pull the trigger on a vararam system... is it worth it to buy the powerduct for $100? with the powerduct i have to relocate the maf? will this cause any issues with my tune?
any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!

Save the money. The intake works well but no noticeable gain with the power duct. They can be found cheaper than $100. I paid $69.

I like the duct, but I don't have the mods you do. I noticed increased throttle response and it just looks better with the VR system over stock.

We offer a nice package deal for the two

Theoretically moving the MAF closer to the intake give a more accurate reading, but I think a tune can get it just right wherever it is. I wouldn't pay 100 for the bridge... I got a new K&N intake for $270 and it comes with a bridge and everything.
Many do and do not believe in the ram air effect. I am not sure myself. If your after good dyno numbers, the Varraram wont make a difference. Just depends on what your after.

A dyno is just a tool used for tuning. I measure my gains at the track

I probably wouldn't spend $100 for a power duct. I don't think you'll gain any real performance with one over what you already have.

Let me look around. It was a forum vendor. I have 2 in mind that it might have been.
