Default New handle is official

Well I did the "boring" thing and went with "Torch Z" to continue my theme. Nothing boring about the car, though -- holy cow!

Now it will be REALLY official once Argent finds a new home...

blank mind on the forum name.

might deign one around your personality or a like rather than the car. if you make it around the car you're changing it all the time.

my usename came from the days when i was really into racing. the name is as it sounds, racing blows all your money which ='s racebum

It's really easy to change, and I only do this every 3-4 years, so not really an issue for me...

how do you like the new Z? feel it was a solid buy after spending some time with it?

Time will tell. R-title or not, in every way, it feels like a new car. Being a Z, it is noticeably quicker and more responsive than Argent.

I learned the guy who did the reconstruction restored Austin Healeys and MGs for 5 years. Every day, I notice indications of his attention to detail. He is a craftsman -- and called me Sunday just to see how i was enjoying the car.

When I changed back to the stock exhaust, my mechanic checked it out. No evidence of any frame or suspension damage.

No hassles whatever getting it registered in my name.

Bottom line -- while I "overpaid" at 70% of market value, I will keep it long enough that it will not matter. Frankly. I feel like I stole this car for what I paid.

well.. 70% is just an average. from the sounds of things you have a guy that repaired the car so well it's back to pre wreck condition. that alone is pretty awesome you don't normally find restoration guys doing general body work. often times people try and fix the car as cheaply as possibly just to make it look right.

i may be joining you soon. up to 16k in the savings fund and split on the early c6 or a c5z just the same as you were
