Default Ranges for oil pressure

Just wanted to know were the ranges are for oil pressure. My Z06 is superchaged and the oil pressure will be high like around 55-70 and then fall to around 40 then when i stop at a light the pressure will drop down to like 25-30 and have seen it as low as like 20 or 22psi so what do you think also i run 5w- 30 in the Z06 what do u guys think!!!!

16psi idling @ normal temp. It also has oil being ditributed to 2 turbos, scavenge pump and an oil cooler. I run 5w30 Amsoil. Switching to 10w30 or 15w50 Mobil in a few days.

In a modified engine out of warranty, I'd consider this which is very similar to AMSOIL's racing 10w30 I use, but has enough detergent/dispersant for about 3-5k oil change intervals whereas I change the racing oil about every 500 miles.

AMSOIL Z-ROD 10w30 Synthetic Motor Oil (Product Code ZRTQT)
(zinc – 1440 ppm, phosphorus 1320 ppm)

Biggest difference between this and any API SN spec oil is the extra anti-wear additives (zinc and phosphorus or ZDDP).

FYI, Mobil 1's ZDDP numbers available here:
Mobil 1 Zinc/Phosphorus Levels

All that said, the oil pressures are not that abnormal. What they really indicate is the oil's viscosity and the engine rpm (which drives the oil pump). The hotter the oil gets, the more its viscosity drops, thus the lower the oil pressure. This is why you see in the low 20s at idle when the oil is really warm.
