I am missing the end of the thing that holds my top in place, it was missing when I brought it home. Have looked all over here, followed some threads on parting out C 5's with no luck. Does anybody out there know where I can find one or what it is called?

I have some vinyl vacuum caps on mine right now. They match the torch red pretty well but don't function all that great.
I'm pretty sure I've seen OEM style replacements for these pieces in a magazine somewhere, I think it was Corvette Central, you might want to check there. I'm pretty sure GM doesn't sell them individually, the closest you can come is buying a whole replacement latch/release solenoid/targa retainer assembly.
