Default New Seats, PICS!

Many many thanks to Danny @ Assaultech.

YOU'VE NEVER REALLY DRIVEN YOUR CAR UNTIL YOU UPGRADE YOUR SEATS TO A SET LIKE THESE! I can dooooo aaaaaanything!!

Corbeau A4's standard width, red cloth. Took less than an hr to install, and was as simple as unbolting/unplugging the factory seats and bolting these down. Maintained full functionality of everything, no DTC's no warning lights in the dash. boom-

02 Corvette z06, 64k miles, stock.

For those who are on factory seats and have thought about upgrading:

DO IT. I've actually put it sideways a few times without intending to because you no longer feel the lateral forces in these seats, so you can now be in control of the car and execute exactly what you intend for the car to do, instead of worrying about any discrepancy between your body and the hands on the wheel/foot on the throttle. You can think about controlling the CAR'S momentum and not yours as you drive- which is fantastic.

I like your description of the way the seats improve the driving experience more than the way they look. Thanks for sharing.

link to seats. Available in black, red, blue cloth and also black leather or microsuede (these two cost a little more $$$). Note: the price on the website is not what I paid. Ask Dan about the special pricing options- you may be surprised .

I like your wording on that. Nothing will make you really feel your car like a set of racing seats.

Anybody feel free to give me a shout for a quote on this setup.

i like mine a lot, too. I bought the car with them, and had to have an upholstery shop shave the seat cushion because i didn't have nearly enough room with a helmet on. I'm 6'3".

They offer a 1" shaved base option from Corbeau for a little extra

I love mine. Congrats on discovered why so many of us consider this a performance mod.

I may opt for the shaved base too; I can never wear my helicopter spinny hat without interference from the headliner.

Maintained full functionality of everything
Even the electric adjustment? I didn't think that was possible with these seats or am I confused? (no real surprise there )
