New Z06 owner
Hi guys is there room for a new Z06 owner to hangout in this section of the forum? Picked up a 2002 Torch Red one this evening. :D

My wife and I picked up our '02 Quicksilver ZO6 yesterday. The car had 6 miles on it! We were the first and only ones to test drive the car. Very sweet. Performance and handling ... none better. As much as we loved our '01 MN6 Coupe, this car blew us away! So now, we break it in nice and slow, then we have some serious fun! :smash:

Welcome to the forum! Got mine two weeks ago with 2 miles on the odo... Definitely rocks...Other than the fact that it is already in the shop. Nothing major but a few owners have had problems with rear axle boots that have small cuts and spray dark grease on the inside of the rear wheels (often only on one side). If you drive the car 100 miles and don't notice anything, you're probably good to go (the grease is very noticeable black gook - doesn't look like brake dust). I'm just mentioning it because a few of us had the issue so the factory might have had a problem with that part. And since it sprays grease on the inside of the wheel, including the brakes, it can be a safety issue if not addressed (according to the dealer).
Anyway, it will be fixed under warranty or course but this car is habbit forming and I can't wait to get it back from the dealer!
Other than that small detail (all auto manufacturers have an average of 2-5 issues per unit produced so one or two little things are to be expected) I can't get enough of the car! And the people of this forum are incredibly helpful. Congrats on the new ride!

Absolutely! Welcome aboard. Not that I'm being biased or anything, but personally I like your choice of colors.
(I picked up my 2002 Torch Red Z about three weeks ago. She had 3 miles on her at the time. Now she has about 589 & all but three are mine. Great feeling.)

:cheers: Picked my EB Z06 up with 6 miles on the od it was built on friday so I can understand why the extra miles are on the od everyone anxious to punch out on that time clock :lol:
