Please show me where you mounted your fire extinguishers and what bolts etc you used.

Ive never bolted it in. I just have it wrapped with a towel in the rear cubby hole so it doesn't bang around..

Pardon the mess. Wash day is tomorrow.

(Note: The zip ties are normally black and rotated mostly out of site. I put white ones on just to show how the extinguisher is mounted.)

Heavy duty velcro in the trunk. Lay it down during normal use and it won't roll around and stick it to the side oduring a car show. The velcro sticks to the carpet fairly well.

I purchased the Brey-Krause seat mount that came with the quick-release bracket. I originally installed the mount/extinguisher in front of the passenger seat, however the wife hated having it mounted there as she felt it got in the way, especially on long cruises.

As a result, I remounted it in the trunk (convertible) directly onto my partition. I used the same basic hardware that was included with the Brey-Krauise seat mount, minus the bar, however I had to use longer bolts to fasten the aluminum mount through my partition. I then used a set of 4 large SS washers for additional support on the inside. Solid as a rock!

Plus, it adds a little "trunk bling"...

I've saved others cars and property. I'm glad I have never needed it for my stuff but it is worth saving others.

I started carrying mine after witnessing a club member's mint 63' vert get saved by another club member who was packing a fire extinguisher. Insurance or not, that would have been a tough one to lose.

I like knowing it's (mounted) in the trunk in case I need it.
