with just a cam install on a Zo6 (MTI C1) would I need a computer re-program ?
what kind of gains would be expected ?

I'm no expert, but I don't think changing the cam alone is going to do much unless you improve the intake and exhaust flow as well ...

If you put in one of the popular aftermarket camshafts, you are going to need better springs, hardened pushrods, and possibly new retainers depending on spring choice.

MTI has a few really nice cam's out right now and I beleive today is the last day to get in on their cam install special. They'll sell you the whole package and install it at a VERY good rate as long as you order by the end of the month (today).

You'll probably wanna rev the cam to 6500'ish....I forget, whats the Z06 rev limiter? As long as its around there you'll be fine....the stock programming is pretty awesome to start with.

I'd guess you'd gain 10rwhp if you dont have headers, 15-20 if you do.
