Default TPMS age

Bought new Delco TPMS's (still in plastic bag) does anyone know how to tell how old they are? I have to assume they are much newer than my 2001 vert but there is nothing but these codes on them:

25773946
12192
LC27
GR5 890
0777331245
ic: 2545A-GMG2RCAM

Mine had a little circle on them with the date clearly marked, month in the ring and year in the center.

Car is a 98, sensors were a tick older. Shows Nov 97

Oh, and also, these have a Lithium battery in them, so the battery itself has a shelf life of 15 years min. Then, they are not actually active unless they get moved around or shaken (or a magnet nearby). So even if the date is past a bit, it won't really matter unless you were hoping these would be willed to your grandchildren.

Man, this forum is amazing! Yes, indeed, there was a little calendar mark molded into the plastic indicating 2 -12

Pretty fresh indeed! Thank you K-Spaz!

I never noticed that date mark before.

I just looked at some I had from a 2004 and they were marked 11 - 03.

I looked at some new ones that I just bought a couple weeks ago and they have marks for 06 -11. So they are about a year old. I hope they were not active much and that like K-Spaz said they have a pretty good shelf life.

Good information on this forum.

Thanks.

I wouldn't worry too much about their life...my original 97 ones are still running strong...hope I didn't jinx myself by saying that!
