Any one here do this? Will the vynl adhere to the glass surface properly?
Main reason I was considering doing this is my top is starting to look a little battered, lots small fine spider web cracks, and to cut down on interior heat. Don't have the funds right now for a painted top and thought this may be an alternative for the time being.
If you do go the carbon fiber route, don't use the Di-Noc. While it "can" be done, its not meant to be used on car wraps. Instead, 3m makes a vehicle wrap specific carbon fiber vinyl under their Scotchprint series. Just google "3m Scothprint Carbon Fiber"
If you do it yourself, check out Youtube for tips. One important thing to remember is that with any carbon fiber vinyl, you do not want to stretch it much because the pattern will become wavy.
