I just don't understand owners like that... I mean, these cars are meant to be driven. Sure, if you're a museum or a collector I can see a very low mileage but I see way too many really low mileage Vettes out there. I'm sure it's a nice car but I would be concerned about all the old fluids and hoses and dry rotted tires from sitting in one place all that time.
Yea the guy that owns it was on hear a few weeks ago asking questions about what it might be worth.
I think his farther just passed and now they want to sell the car.

There's a 1995 ZR-1 in NC with only 658 miles on it. Also a 1988 with around 4500 miles can be found in NC. I don't get it, although the price on the 95 is 46K, most of the time these cars depreciate.
Mine won't have that problem, already have several hundred miles on it and I haven't owned it a month.
If the car was an event car or something else of a one-of-a-kind, then I could see why he might want to park it. But it's just a regular Vette!!
"The car belonged to my brother who recently passed away and I am the Trustee of his Estate. He purchased the car new, took it for a ride on the freeway and took it home and parked it. When he moved to a new home in 2004, he drove it there and parked it in the garage. Each Thursday, he started the car and washed it in his heated garage. Since he purchased the car, he has put 3 batteries in it. It was never registered since it was new because he was unwilling to drive it to a shop for fear of a rock chip. The car is perfect. I don’t know what else to say about it. Brian"
The answer he gives to why it was not driven clearly points to a case of extreme paranoia! Really quite sad actually.

WOW and if that statement is true the owner certainly had deeper issues in his life,
& sorry to the guy who lost his brother.
He was probably very wealthy and bought it as a piece of art for his garage. If he was a multi-millionaire, he may have had other works of art hanging on his walls that he spent a lot more than $50K on.
I agree it's better used as a car than a work of art, but IF he was rich, $50K is not a lot to spend.
