Default Any way around automatic headlights?

Hello again. I really don't like the fully automatic headlights on my c5, i like the thought of manual lights better. is there any way around this? I know when the parking brake is on, the lights dont pop up at night until i disengage it. The only trick i've figured out so far is when i shut off the car to put the headlight switch to the middle position and back down to off and it will shut off the lights (i always leave the switch at the "off" position").

thanks

Go to gauges, go to options, turn off the twilight switch. I know someone out there can give better instructions than me, but check out your manual. L8R ZFLASH

If I understand your issue correctly, I believe you need to turn off your "Twilight" option via the DIC. That way your headlights won't turn on automatically when it gets dark and you control when and which lights turn on.

The above is correct unless you have a Canadian car, They can't be turned off I don't think.
Where are you located?

Here is a good thread.

It's all covered in your owner's manual. If you don't have one of those, you can download and electronic version from www.gmpartshouse.com.
