Premium gas,,and an occasional bottle of Chevron Techron every now and then. Depends a lot on how much you drive it. I throw one in 3 or 4 times a year. Helps prevent the dreaded gas gauge syndrome!! Other than that none are necessary. Top tier rated gas is a good idea too!
I've had really good luck with Lucus products. The fuel additive works great for me. I notice about a mile per gallon or more at fill up. I've used it with every car I've owned with great success. Turbo cars, little beaters... my vette... never had a negative thing happen. Just more power and better fuel mileage.
I had the fuel gauge deal and Techron fixed me right up. i wonder if it cleans up the sender what else is it cleaning? Does it do the whole fuel system, lines, injectors also?

techron or lucas injector cleaner are fine. that stabil crap isn't, leaves massive deposits in the engine. coats the hell out of the piston tops and valves with the red slime tarnish
This is definitely the best way to go for a LS1 or any other engine. Use very good gasoline, 91 octane and throw in a 21oz. bottle of Chevron three or four times a year and I've had excellent experience from this practice.
