Default Sequential Turn Signals

Fitted the Sequential Turn Signal mod...........super easy to install, takes less than 5 minutes, and looks great..........I think,...... well,....... I can't actually see it from where I'm sitting.

I wouldn't mind having that at all. Probably need to wait until I get a gift card as a gift or something. A hundred bucks seems a bit much.

Yep, they are a little pricy, but there's $20.00 coolness factor, and $30.00 Corvette tax.

Does the sequence also activate when applying just the brakes?

Just curious...

No, the rear brake lights function as normal under braking when not signalling.

If you are signaling left while braking, the left rear light does it's sequential thing, while the right two rear lights act as normal brake lights (both constantly on), and of course the opposite applies when signaling right.

If you activate the hazard warning button, both sets of rear lights do the sequential thing, simultaneously, i.e. the left pair of rear lights sequencing left and the right pair sequencing right.

No problem. As I was told by Clif (forum member), make sure the polarity is correct when you connect them, after that, they worked just like they should.

Cool. I thought that the brake lights might cycle once as they came on or something. I had a similar mod on a Mustang I had years ago and really liked it but of course they have three lights on each side, so it seemed to make more sense. However, after watching the little video on this thread, I find that I like it really well on the 'Vette too!!

May just have to plan on getting this!!!

Mine do "sequence" with braking as well. The coolest thing is that the CHMSL activates first that then from inside out on the tails. Really cool.

Here's an old vid of mine:

That looks really good. Since you only get two of the plug and play parts, do they go on the inside taillights or the outside ones?

Hey Allegro,

Yeah, really cool clip and that is exactly what I was wondering about!!!
I agree with you that the cool part is the center high mount coming on first and then it cascading to the outer-most lights!!!!! Very cool!!!

I had a CBR929RR years ago that I put a mod on to make the brake light pulsate to increase visibility. Yours kind of seem to have that effect as well. I don't think anyone could ever say that they didn't see your brake lights come on!!!!

I hope these kits work just like yours. If so, I am totally sold on it!!

Thanks for the reply!!!!

One each for the outside lights. This gives them a "delay" over the inside ones, giving the effect of "pointing" left or right.

I stand corrected, I guess the lights do make one cycle of the sequential thing when braking, then all 4 lights remain on. When I checked mine I stuck a piece of wood on the brake pedal and then walked around to see ........but of course by that time the sequential thing was over!
