I recently bought something I really like for my C5 on Ebay. It is available now at a purchase now price and is cheap. Several things I have read here led me to believe there is a rule against posting a link to this. Is that true? I have no connection to this seller other than I was pleased with what I got. Is it OK for me to do this?
every now and again the mods have a fit about it since the products aren't from "approved vendors" that's not an internet brands policy by the way, just something specific to here
From: Should this thoughtful, valuable contribution meet with no acknowledgement or 'thanks' this post----
The rule has been relaxed since the new owners of the forum have subscribed to banner software that contains non-forum vendors' products. However, personally, I try not to steer business away from forum vendors publicly....privately, I've done it, but only because of a bad experience.

If most of these vendors on here had less than crazy prices, I'd try not to steer them away too, but when you can go on fleabay and find the same stuff for a fraction of the price, well....... Of course I could be the only corvette owner in the world who is not rich.

That is true in a way, but we as vendors also pay a lot of money monthly to keep the forum free to it's users. How many people come on here and get very useful info that helps save hundreds if not thousands of dollars, and it's free because the vendors are paying for it.

Also you have someone to contact with a technical sense and know someone is there to answer the phone and can address you problem. The technical info is worth it to buy from a forum vendor also. This place is free and it ain't cheap to keep the lights on.
