Cars don't race on dynos.

Sounds good OP! Make sure you have the fuel and a solid tune, and 125-150 shouldn't be an issue.

yeah but this thread is about dyno numbers....

I agree those numbers sound really really low. Torque looks nice though

And using br7 plugs as well which will lower the hp. Keep in mind that the motor is on a nitrous tune so timing has been pulled.

I am also on the fence with either a direct port N20system from nitrous direct or the trusty A&A Supercharger........ I like the Nitrous because of the cost effectiveness, I mean how often do you need 505rwhp driving to work? 7 grand is a tough pill to swallow for a SC....
When you have your car tuned for nitrous how is drivability off the bottle? how many good runs do you get on 1 bottle? what does your run consist of a 2nd 3rd 4th ? are you using a progressive controller? LOL thanks man.

Well...

When I installed the 7L it was like being on the 150shot, but all the time... Although Nitrous has a lot better power band than N/A, its much more fun the 7L N/A than the 5.7 NOS with the same horsepower. With the 150shot I did 560rwhp.

Now.... I am pushing 100shot with the 7L for 660rwhp.

I am using the stock ECU and 15974NOS controller... I am not using it progressive.

If I had the choice... I would go supercharged... i wanted the nitrous because I could have the car for road racing and a little juice when a big race comes up, but for the types of racing we are gearing to, the charger would have been a better choice.

Driveability off the bottle is perfect. I don't see why there should be any issues off the bottle...

If you want to do a good nitrous system it will NOT come cheap.... Period... It's a tad unreliable and parts have a very short lifespan (nitrous parts/not the engine). I use the nano and honestly, even with the nano you can feel the car looses a tad of power each pass... its a lot better than without it, but it has its caveats. Nitrous is a high maintenance system....

The charger however... if you get the direct drive and don't have belt slippage issues... you will be fine and perfect...

Nitrous however is the best on the engine as 100hp on the flywheel is 100hp on the pistons.... unlike the charger or turbo where 100hp on the flywheel is like 150hp on the pistons... There is no parasitic loss... since it cools down the pistons they tend to live longer... obviously if tuned correctly and not just using the old stupid rule of 2 deg/50shot, which is completely RETARDED and stupid and that is a recipe for destruction.

[QUOTE=HighlanderX;1582333992]Well...

Understandable. A 7lt on the juice is a nasty machine...Thanks for the input and I con understant the bummer it must be when you start noticing you are low on the sauce. LOL so many pepople think you are cheating with it but so few really understand it or even how it works in the combustion chamber...
