Or just go into the settings on the camera and set it to Upside Down mode.
Mount it upside down on passenger side rear window and use the spot meter to get the interior to not appear so dark. Don't forget to use the non sealed door on your housing to get better sound or go buy a cheap plugin mic but you'll also need a skeleton case or drill a hole in your exisiting housing. Gopro mic is terrible.
I would just permanently mount one of these www.hackhd.com to your front and rear bumper and connect it to your car battery with a 12V to 3.7V DC adapter. Would be good for security too, I am waiting till they have continuous recording before ordering, they said by October. GoPro's good for temporary mounting and underwater stuff.
