C5 Vert Cargo Partition
Previously with the top up, we could not hear each other talking or listen to the radio. Maybe a bit of elderly ears, but the resonant drone from the large open trunk area took a lot of the fun out of driving the car.
The partition was easy to install, looks great and radically cut down the interior sound. Good going Dan at Exotic Vette.
Also, we just ordered our Ventus V12's from Tire Rack and they are due in to our local Pep Boys for installation sometime this coming week. Finally getting rid of the old Goodyear run-flats which made the car sound/act like a hobo's railroad car. We really were on the fence regarding whether to go with run-flats again but we want QUIET!. So the Ventus tires were the way to go. Already have our 12 volt compressor and plug kit, just in case. (In addition to the cell phone and AAA).
Installing our Southern Car Parts lift pucks this weekend and about to order a pair of "Fangs" for the skid plate protectors on the front. Other than these mods, the car (a 2000 RED vert) is bone-stock. (Still looking for a white round shift **** for our automatic).
Got all of these parts, thanks to this board...Bob

Great product. Combined with the Lloyds cargo mat as well as the insulation I installed with the new stereo, (bad) cabin noise has been significantly reduced. I just installed the Hankooks as well and they ride great!
