Which tire
what a diff. the ride is much better. quieter. thought i had a axle bearing going out before ,but it was just road noise. so glad.
so far i highly recommend hankook. get them at discount tire.
great people to deal with.
yup, same with the Nittos, except for the axle bearing part (lol)....
much improved over the run flats, but I think you'll hear that about any tire that replaces the runflats......
Agreed, got those on my sons S2k (DWS)...Discount Tire didn't have them in stock set sizes for the vette....
Also a bit of a difference depending if you want an all season DWS or summer DW - right?

I had the Goodyear run-flats and it rode like a hobo freight train.
The ride home with the new Hankok's was absolutely amazing. No whir and not much of a clunk when I went over road bumps. Very very nice.
Can't wait to try them with the top up. Previously with the run-flats, we couldn't talk or listen to the radio with the vert top up. We added last week the ExoticVette cargo partition and now the v12's. Now we have a nice long distance driveable car. Cell phone, AAA, tire compressor pump and plugs all ready to go if needed.
One more item, I bought the Southern Car Parts permanent lift pucks. Installed easily although I did use some glue which is not needed. I'm going to get a four-set of additional rubber hockey pucks for some additional space between the metal car hoist arms and the stay-in pucks. Even with the stay-in pucks, the distance between the car body and the arms was really close. Some short sections of wood 2x4's would be fine too, kept in the trunk. Not a complaint about the stay-in's. If they were deeper, they might get knocked off on a speed bump, but I'd like just a bit more room between the arms and the pucks, just in case.
As noted, very very pleased with the difference the Hankoks made in this nice car.

PS: Pep Boys here in Bradenton was really good and knowledgeable about how to handle our Vette. During the alignment, they found a tie rod nut that had worked loose and only had a few more threads left before exiting the rod. Good work...
