Default New C5 owner

Purchased my first C5 a few weeks ago now. The only mods done are, Borla exhaust, Blackwing CAI, and I just got a tune from ECS. The only other mod I would like to do yet is lower it on the stock bolts. After getting my PCM back from ECS, and taking it out for a test drive, I told my wife that this car is plenty fast enough for me. I guess I am one of the very few who does not want to do many of the performance mods. I can't believe how fast this car is!
I am so impressed with these C5's with the stock performance, comfort, and amazing fuel mileage. Here is a picture of my 2003.(Love the Medium Spiral Gray color).

Congratulations.....and Welcome!!!

And I agree on the lack of desire to add performance mods......I wouldn't know what to do with more HP.

Maybe I'm just getting (gotten) old.

She's a beaut!!

I like the MSG too.

I just lowered mine, stock bolts, and didn't go ALL the way but now considering adding some more travel back to it as the ride is a lot harsher now.

But mine didn't look as high as yours before lowering.

just consider going in steps rather than slamming all at once.

Congratz on yer new ride.......for me...the love is still strong after five years. Going out right now to replace the idler/tensioner pulley.

take care....G

Congrats Gary, I like that color too. But it would seem I'm apparently attached to Red.

I totally agree, mine is completely stock. Would like to do a cat-back and a Blackwing, but thats about it.
