He probably has a garage full of trophies he's won at car shows as stainless steel stick on stuff tends to be popular at those events. You can never have enough tacky stainless steel!

This never ending parade of add on personalizing stuff is largely a negative verses the stock GM appearence IMHO. People take a high class car like the Corvette and change it into a freakmobile to make it there own??? Well trust me it is definitely their own now as no one else would want to be seen in it...sheeez...
