In agree that the 2003 emblem is not the most durable - the silver paint seems to wear off unusually quick - mine has done the same thing. There is a paint from Duplicolor that matches the factory silver on the emblem rather well and I have touched mine up to where they look like new again. I have the paint details at home and if you'd like to go that route, PM me and I'll get the details to you.
Otherwise, I am considering just taking the '03 emblems off and putting on a set of either black factory emblems (which I have not had any problems with) or I have a set of chrome plated emblems coming in the mail now that I will put on the car.
Yes, and pieces have cracked off as well. Car is stored outside under a cover. Understand the hood emblems have holes for alignment, and the trunk emblem helps with closing the trunk, otherwise I would have removed them (or what's left of them). The 03 price hike doesn't help any....
The billet ones look nice. How much and where?

Those billet ones do look great. If you don't mind, details please.
I can't post details because the person is not a vendor and they have them made is small batches. I sent them an email asking about placing a decent size order if there are people interested!
Since I have delt with them before I will most likely be the one to place the order so let me know who is interested in getting some.
All I can say is these are a work of ART, and the absolute BEST looking emblems I have ever seen.

Are these perfectly flat on the back side or does the one for the nose have a small curve to match that of the front of the car?
No the front one is not curved at first it looks like it won't hold for long due to the laws of gravety but so far it has and is still on there strong, the flag inserts do weather after two years and i do keep the car in the garage i paid $90 for the pair and would do it again...becareful shopping for them on ebay to be sure your getting the good ones make sure there chrome and cost $90 there are look alikes for half that price but u really dont want them you get what u pay for...
