Actron scanner?
I'd like to buy a scan tool and I've been told actron is a good scanner.
Is there a specific model someone could recommend? I have a 2004 and a 1989 as well.

After browsing the Actron Website (which is simple to navigate if you're so inclined by the way) they have three different versions of scanners. Actually I would forget about Actron and go directly to HPTuners. They have just the scanning software for purchase, or if you want you can buy the entire suite (which is what I have implemented) to have further capabilities for future requirements. It does the same, just has greater capabilities for the tuning if you have the patience, not to mention the ability to have tuning capabilities for multiple vehicles with just one single software.

Another implementation I want to mention is the ability of the suite of software for the scanning while driving the car. For this, when you have to obtain any scanning logs for subsequent modifications, the more expensive version will allow you to bring scanning capabilities with the car, without having to have the actual software or even your laptop while driving. Subsequently you can bring the logs back with you then upload the resulting scans onto the computer. The actual information on the scans will sync with the software, you then can navigate results from the live scanning within the system. There certainly are greater capabilities for sets of requirements, for example the abilities for the programming for different setups, although this covers specifically most of the main topics.
