Bought a torch red 2000 6 speed yesterday and heater controls display is dead. Everything works fine, just no display, seller did tell me about it. Are there bulbs in there that can be replaced or is it LED display board and I need to replace the whole unit? I saw them at Ekler for $279 with rebuilds for $249 ballpark. A bulb would make me happier. LOL.

Yes, you can fix it yourself if you are handy with a soldering iron and follow some of the DIY instructions that have been posted on the forum. Otherwise, you can contact JW Motoring (forum vendor) and they might be able to help you out in fixing the dim display.
