Default seat cover question?

Will the passenger seat cover fit on the drivers side? I need a new cover for my drivers seat (oak sport) and was wondering if the passenger side would work.

To this extent I have a set of gray sport seat covers from a 99 that someone might be able to use. Drivers side bolster needs replacement or repair.

Yes, they will fit. HOWEVER,

1. The cloth back that was inboard on the passenger side will be outboard on the driver's side. It doesn't look bad on the driver's side IMO.

2. The holes for the controls in the passenger seat bottom will be on the wrong side if moved to the driver's side. I don't think the holes will be visible since they will be up against the console/tunnel. You will have to cut new holes for the driver's side seat controls.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

Have you contacted VettEssentials? they can make it for you, you dont have to buy the entire seat cover, you should be able to get just the bottom.

Its actually only the drivers seat back that I was interested in, not the bottom, so no concerns with the seat bottom or the sport seat controls. The car has less than 20k on the clock, but the drivers bolster is worn right thru

Yes, I would love a new set from Vette Essentials, but there's quite a big cost there.
