So are the point of these to take the bolt size from 5x120.65 to another size to fit more common wheels? And the spacer part so thick to accept wheels with much less offset? I've seen these, but never knew the real point. Or if they where just to push the wheels out more.

Most use them to push the wheel out or to get a wheel to fit that doesn't have the proper offset.
I run C6Z 18X10.5 front and 19X12" on the rear wheels with 325/30/19 and wide fender flares; the H&R push the wheel out to the fender in the rear. How big are your rear/front wheels?
