Default Start problem

Today I parked my car for about 1.5 hrs. I came back tried to start but car woudn't start. Tried few times, then called road side assistance. They asked me to check if headlight is on. I swtiched on head-light it was working fine and battery was good. While I was on call, I tried to start again and car started normally.

Any ideas, what was the problem??

I did this once (didn't call roadside asst. though). My clutch wasn't in all the way.

Not even sure if that remotely helps, but I tend to do some bone head stuff everynow and then....

Wonder if there are any codes that may help you determine if there might be a problem???

The first time this happened to me I started to go into a panic, but realized pretty soon what was going on. The clutch has to be practically on the floor before the starter will crank.
