You can upgrade your SW to C6 3 spoke and then there will be many different choices.

You can go to our web to see the pictures for C5 with C6 3 spoke steering wheel. Then you can go to the C6 page to see those D-Type SW. We have 4 different styles.

Will the C6 air bag be functional?

From the research I've done - most say no. The C6 uses a 2 stage airbag while the C5 is single stage.

It MAY be possible to remove the airbag charge from the cover of the C5 and retrofit it into the C6 cover. There was a different thread where someone showed the backs of the airbag and mentioned it, but not sure how it panned out.

I LOVE the look of the Apsis 3 spoke D shape C6 wheel...

Apsis - how much is a basic C6 D shape retrofitted for a C5 if I provide the wheel?

In as much as I like the C6 wheel over my 5, if it can't work then why bother. If you want to fly without an airbag then I would rather go with a 3 spoke Momo.

Here are some installed pictures. Jersey, please feel free to use these on your website.

The quality of this wheel is just unbelievable, it feels amazing in your hands. It actually improves the experience of driving the car.

Maybe I'll order the airbag cover next year at Carlisle, since I know everybody will be saying I need that. Something with a custom embroidered version of my Z06 427ci badges would be pretty neat I think.

And thank you to Corvette Center for the great install.

Here are some daylight pictures showing the wheel and the rest of the interior a bit better:

Quite a compliment, especially with some of the very impressive Vettes on here, thank you!

I can't remember where I got that emblem, but if I remember it was made by Cybergraphics or Cyberdyne. I'm think either Vette Essentials or Southern Car Parts, but don't quote me. It's really high quality and looks just as good as the day it was installed 4 years ago. No signs of becoming unglued either. I really think it makes the stock airbag tolerable and not look so out of place.

How do you like the fixed seats? Any regrets or second thoughts that maybe the adjustable seats would have been better?

How does the C6 wheel work on a C5. As others said, I assume the airbag doesn't work?
