Yes I am an officer in the club..only car with exhaust is a black 2001 coupe and it has borla setup on it
I apologize in advance because I know this is going to sound flip, but can you help me understand how, among the membership of a Corvette Club, there's only one custom exhaust?

haha..no worries...but almost all the people are older meaning retired..and most just are not into modding there cars..the ones who road race and auto cross..stay stock with maybe changing out thier tires.
heres mine, kooks 1 7/8 headers, 3 inch x catless x pipe, corsa catback. my car can fool alot of people while driving just normal. you can not hear anything, all my friends that have driven next to me love it, it sounds stock until i downshift and get on it then all hell breaks loose and its all you can hear.
these are the best vids i have as of right now, i can try and get a good video of a friend videoing next to me while cruising.
ignore the "whine" that's my rear end..... notice the exhaust is totally silent while cruising.
and here is how it sounds at the track
car deft. sounds mean..i am really like how that sounds..when you get time a new vid would be great..
You can't go wrong with the corsa! I have the Borla ... below is a sound clip of the two of them.
The Corsa is the closer car and the Borla in the distance. Both of us are N/A (H/C/I) ... Sorry about the poor quality, this is what happens when someone who never touched your camera does trying to focus however, you can hear the difference between the two
which one is yours? the both sound really good..but i still like how the corsa's sound...but the more i hear the borla's i am starting to like that system as well

mine is the one in the distance, on the right side...to me it sounds the way i want it to I think the two tip droned a little more then my quad tips. If I wanted a quiet car I wouldn't have touched my exhaust at all but I just happen to like the way they flow and when something works for me, I try not to change it.
BTW I'm mid 50's and the guy in the closer vehicle ... well, he's in his sixty's. It's not an age thing in your club ... we call ourselves the old fart - A4 club!
I have SLP headers with corsa pacecar and hi flo cats. After I installed headers I was very surprised that they were only a little louder but no motor boat sound. Just a little deeper sound. Most people would not even be able to tell the car has headers until you get on it. No drone. Not annoying. Good power gain.
so the borla's from my understanding have a more muscle car sound..and the corsa's have a more exotic sound..where do the GHL Bullets fit in with sound..

I love my Corsa Indy Pace Car exhaust - that would be my recommendation. No drone, nice rumble at idle, and when you nail the gas pedal, the system sounds awesome.
the guy in the my vette club said he does notice that his borla's drone..and he did not like that on long trips
Back in the '70s I had a little import (you youngun's are gonna hafta Google this one) called the Datsun B210.
On the highway, it would drone right at the speed I wanted to travel - about 65. If I slowed to 60 to relieve the drone, cars would pass me left and right, plus it felt I was going too slow. If I took it up to 70, it was faster than I was comfortable driving, specially considering the PA/NJ highway patrol's fondness of red cars and college kids in Datsun B210s.
