I looked at (and drove) a 1962 Corvette that is owned by a lady whose husband bought it for her birthday when it was new. They rarely drive it now and I was trying to convince them to sell it to me. No way they will part with it.
Nice story and vid. I think about this with each birthday that goes by. I'm in my late 50's and I suspect I won't be driving my baby 20 years from now. The performance and speed of the vette requires drivers to be "crisp" in their driving skills and regrettably we all know that as we age those skills may decliine. I'm hoping to drive my vette for many years to come but alas, there will be a time.

I believe in the Beer Fairy
Holy smokes, 101, she looks like she might be 70 years old at most. To be in that good of health at that age, and with your wits about you. I'll never make it. Good on ya maam!

Wow.....my first "downer" post.
Just stick a paver block under the gas pedal and you'll be fine to 100! Or, an elegant way would be to electronically limit the throttle % to say, 2. That'd work!

I believe Paul Newman was still racing cars in his 70's and doing well.
