Default Help TPE T2 experience needed!

Recently purchased tpe t2 flares, and needed to know how much some fellow Vette owners have had these installed for? I've seen some get done for around 1000 but at a shop I was about to go to I was estimated around 2000, so around what price should the estimate be?

I wouldn't think more than $900-1200 depending on shop. Anything over that I would shop around. Plenty I people have installed our flares for in that price range.

Default TPE Fenders

Not really that hard to install yourself. The fit is pretty good right out of the box. I did mine myself and im no body man. Had them painted for $500.00. Got a referal from Matt (OH1Z06) off forum for a local guy. PM me if you want his info.

Way to much for the job. Man pull your fenders off your self then put the tpe on make sure the fit is good that there is no glass work that needs to be done. Get a shop to do blocking and any bondo work then color match fenders to car color. Then you put them back on the car.Robert

I agree. That's what I did. Prep and paint cost just under $400.00

Your body shop seems high. But there is a caveat with these
aftermarket fenders. Sure you can install yourself and 20 feet
away they will look good. A closer look and with the door open
most if not all of these fenders will not fit like factory. To fit
like factory there will be a lot of work to make them look right.
Some guys don't care and they will be happy with a non factory
look others like myself will have to have it right.
Another issue is paint some don't care if the paint is alittle off.
Depending on color blending may require almost painting the
whole car to get the color right.
These are some of the things your body shop must consider
with after market fenders. Good luck.

100% But also the big paint shops have a little box they can put r set onto your car that will match the paint excellent now. The only thing is you have to clean all the wax and have that one spot of the car really clean.. My L5 fenders the fit was excellent but had to do more than a little blocking and small pin hole filling on them. To make them look as good as if they came from the factor. Robert
