I don't know what you have been trying, but try this:
Download the pics from your computer to either photobucket.com or tinypic.com. Once that is done, click on the pic on the host site and it will bring up four options you can choose from for posting the pic. Choose the IMG option - copy that link into your forum post and the pic should show up here.

Correction:
You will need to "upload" your pictures to Photobucket.com.
After upload is complete, select the "direct link" option of the picture you would like to post.
Within the corvetteforum.com message box, select the little mountain-picture-thingy icon.
A box will appear.
Paste the "direct link" into the url box.
Click on "post quick reply" or whatever.
Then this happens.
