Default Time to say farewell

Just saying goodbye for awhile. Just traded the 99 for a new challenger. Just time for a change I think, when you get older it's easier to get in a higher car LOL. Thanks to the members who have helped me with the 85 and the 99.

I hear you...in my 50s, after 4 sets of tennis. That driver's seat is a long way down

All the best with the Challenger sir.

I know what the OP means...it was a LOT easier to get into the C-5 11 years ago, when I bought it, than it is now. But I can still manage, so I think I'll hang on a little longer.

Funny, though, how you think you'll be young and invincible forever!!

In my sixties, so I have to "back in", then swivel around to face the steering wheel. So thankful for the memory seats that ramp all the way back which allows for easier entry this way.

It's hell when I get in the car and realize I've forgotten the keys!!!

To the OP, good luck with the Challenger. I think you'll still look at every Corvette that passes.

after 4 sets it doesn't matter if you're in your 30's! Congrats that you get to play 4 sets often. I'm not quite there yet but trying

I quit saying goodby 7 vettes ago. I kept getting another one. I'm a very sick person. The next one was always going to be my last one. Oh well.

Nothing wrong with a change every now and then. Hope some day you get back into a Vette and hope you'll still stick around here, even if you don't have a Vette anymore.

Good luck with the Challenger. It doesn't matter what you drive as long as you're a car guy.
