So my car was working perfectly fine drove home from work go to start it and nothing happens, only interior power that dies on the crank. So I replace the key, still nothing. I then get ready to replace the lock cylinder after reading many threads trying to eliminate as many options. Once all the paneling is removed I see two white wires connected to the lock cylinder sliced in half. So I replace the cylinder, now I get the service column lock and column won't unlock but car will start....btw column was locked the whole time... Please help, nothing has been working for me so far
Fyrarms is right. You should find everything you need there.
Your first order of business will be to retract your lock. There's a fair chance a sharp rap with a hammer against the lock motor will jostle the brushes into working again. If so, retract the lock (using your key or manually applying voltage to the motor), and then disconnect the thing permanently. It will only fail again in the future. Then install a bypass module that tricks the computer into thinking the lock is working just fine. Here are some links to bypass kits.
