Default Driving the C5 Z

I have been away on work now for over a month and a half, yes that's how long I go at times away from my car
I can be having the worse day of my my life but the moment I get in the car start it up its all wiped away and a smile is from ear to ear .... How about any of you do you go long periods of time without driving your car
Or if your day has been terrible does the car clear your mind up ?

I bought a place here in Texas years ago ... Lake Fork Texas is or was one of the country's premier Bass lakes and then a funny thing happened I bought a corvette and stopped fishing

Agree, just seeing it in the garage is incredible. Wish I could drive it every day.

Default Whatup James

I bought my red 01'Z last March and I look for a reason to drive it every day. Just thinking about it helps me get through the monotony of work. The only thing is, I live just north of Seattle and its no good in the rain. We just had the best summer I can remember as far as dryness and it didn't hit me till recenently that I was gonna have to pretty much put it away till spring and that my friend, sucked.

I so hear you on this... I originally bought my C5Z to be a daily driver. But as time passed, with all the mod's "invested" into it over time, it became a true dream car and now I only drive my car on weekends. The thing though here (in resonating with your point) is that on the worst day, get into that beast and it's literally mood enhancing. Even after 6 years of ownership, this effect is still the same

I also travel a lot for work. Usually I'm gone 2-3 weeks at a time, but sometimes more like 5-6 weeks.

Whenever I get home, I always wash the corvette the next morning (weather permitting) and drive it every chance I get. I am always blasting the radio and smiling ear to ear.

Sometimes I have to pinch myself when I get home and look at my c5 sitting in the garage. I almost can't believe that I actually own one.

My car does have a lot of theraputic value - seems like all the day's problems just melt away when I get behind the wheel.
