Default Rear Side Marker Issue

So I bought the kit to change the side markers. Iwas able to do the fronts but need some guidance on the rears. I tried taking tire off and loosening panel but could not access from there. Can someone help in the matter. I dont want to keep wasting my time.

Take off the outermost tail light and access through there.

Default Side Markers

My only issue was that when using a 1/4" drive socket, I could only get the rears out, due to interference with inner panels. Had to use a box end on the fronts IIRC. PO had installed a power antenna, so also had to move that out of the way. Suggestion-the stamped steel nuts cut threads into the plastic posts as they are tightened. I found it easier to run the nuts down on the posts before installing to pre-cut the threads. Made tightening them with my arm through the bumper easier. Also, don't over tighten. You can snap off the post.
