Cleaning windows

Works perfect every time with no streaks or film anywhere, and to get down where the windshield meets the dash I have one of those cheap things from WalMart with the handle and pad attached again use just water and dry.

The outside window's are easy.
On a dry window apply ORIGINAL RAIN-X. Let dry 20 or so mins.
WASH off the residue, or use a VERY damp rag get the residue off.
Do not use a dry towel to remove. It will streak like crazy.
You HAVE to use a very damp towel or wash the car after.
Best to put on Rain-X ... let dry a little, then WASH the entire car.
Dry with micro fiber towel to crystal slippery surface.
You will not believe how cool it is to drive in the rain with Rain-X
Re apply every couple months.
The inside of the window is a little more tricky.
The inside window's I have been using my Zaino Z8 quick detail spray. I spray onto a micro fiber towel, wipe on inside window, and get into all the corners REALLY well. I let dry to a haze after 15 mins or so. I then use a NEW dry microfiber towel and rub off the haze. It makes the inside of the window really slippery feeling, and its much easier to wipe. Crystal clear after you remove the haze. My micro fiber towel no longer leaves little fibers behind because of the rough surface. The Z8 leaves it slippery and clear.

If I'm a little lazy on the outside window's...

I use the Zaino Z8 on my outside windows too. Spray the Z8 onto a micro fiber towel. Wipe window's. Let dry 15 mins. Wipe off haze with a dry micro fiber towel. No streaks, crystal clear, and slippery as heck.
Toque

The company I purchased these from recommends water only to clean glass because it does not streak I have found if I use some zaino Z-6 or Z-8 sprayed on the cutting cloth after it is wet gives me great results and the finishing cloth will not drag as much as it does with just water. These glass cleaning kits can be purchased at many stores but the cutting cloth which is a special weave should be part of the set for best results. So far I am impressed with this process even with plain hot water as suggested.
Hope This Helps
I use mircofiber towels on the inside glass.I apply Rain-X on the outside about every 2 months or so. Don't even need wipers anymore.
If you have tint on your windows be sure you use a cleaner that states it is okay to use on tinted windows. For instance, Glass Plus is okay and Windex is not.

Just for those using Windex, be aware that it is not tint friendly. We also stopped using it downrange because the ammonia would break down the polyurethane that held together the layers of ballistic glass.
