I've looked all over and can't find anyone that has done racing stripes in a matte finish clear vinyl. So I decided to get some vinyl and so far I've tested it by doing fender stripes. I plan on doing the racing stripes in a few weeks once my brother cuts the stripes with his machine. I'll update once I've finished. Here's the test run. Let me know what you guys think.

I prefer a bolder look for the stripes, but there is nothing wrong with the subtle look. Looking forward to seeing your car with the final product installed.
Plasitdip Clear would probably do it. Look on youtube, I saw a guy spray a whole BMW M3 white. You can tape it and spray it. If you mess up or don't like it, peel it off.
Funny you should mention Plastidip. That's what I have on my wheels right now. Was thinking of trying to do the stripes with the clear, but I wasn't sure if it'd give it a matte finish or not. Either way I already got 10 yards of the clear matte vinyl for $50 (my brother makes stickers for his business so he has a wholesale account to buy it). On another note with Plastidip, I recently got 2 cans of smoke color in the mail, gonna try it on my tail lights.
