Hard to say - some muffler shops will do it for a reasonable price, others for a lot more. Best to just check with several shops in your area and see what they will charge. If I had to guess, I would say in the $100-150 price range, but that's just a wild guess.

The smell disapates. The throaty exhaust sound is a matter of taste. But if you really need to do it, you can probably find someone on here to trade out with as its a popular mod. The four cats are realatively specialized; I bet pretty pricey.

For your mods you will want hi-flow cats, and they aren't cheap, then add the cost of installation...hard to say if you would be saving over just buying an xpipe with hi flow cats already on.
