Yea that's what I heard too. I guess at high speed the window wants to pull away from the top seal. The black clip holds the window in place and does not allow it to move away from the seal.

Zackly. As I understand it, they are also NLA from GM so if one gets damaged, lost, misplaced, etc you're SOL unless you get one from a salvage car.

the window does want to pull away at high speeds, kinda freaked me out the first time mine did it.....
