Correction,,Speedway White is the rarest 352 units total in Z06 form built (not a 405hp though). Offered only in 2001
No correction necessary.
I think just about anyone on this forum and this particular topic would know that the 2001 SW was the rarest ZO6 color built. That's why I stated (and was simply quoting member C5_LS6) "THE RAREST COLOR WITH 405HP."

I have to laugh becauese you will answer a question then 3 posts down someone says the same damn thing..............Does that frustrate anyone else or is it just me?

I certainly meant no disrespect. I was simply clarifying (IMO) a half read post.
While that is likely the most reasonable place to start the pricing, it's worth whatever someone will pay for it. Ya might get lucky and happen upon someone who is looking for that exact car and uses KBB for pricing. Ya never know.
The industry revolves around KBB.com and the Manheim auction sales results. These prices can vary significantly, both regionally and seasonally.
Also, the more the car is modded, the more narrow the potential audience becomes. A heavily modded car will typically make the average buyer uncomfortable. Finding an enthusiast and convincing him that yours is the car if his dreams is easier said than done.
As they say in the car business, "There is an *** for every seat." But, at the end of the day, it's only worth what someone will stroke a check for.
While these are all valid points, the irony is the ones with the most invested in the value of these cars are the same ones who have the most influence on that value -
THE OWNERS.
The more owners you have that will sell what should be a ~$20k car for $14k, or take ~$9-$11k when trading it in the value suffers. Ultimately the car is worth what someone will pay, but only if the OWNER will sell it for that.
Bought my TR new, three years use as a SCCA National Tour car (trailered not many miles) modes, expensive DA shocks. Next it took me to my 150mph club at Bonneville (it took twelve passes, and two seasons to make it in), and a few track days. It has been driven across Europe for a month seeing 163 mph on an open section of the A24. Taken me across the US three time, and one trip to Alaska. It's been driven in all weather conditions. It's eaten more brakes, and tires then I (or my wife wants to know). I'v repaired the ABS Module, four serpentine belts along with two sets of pulleys, and one air conditioner clutch.
Oh and it's getting close to the big Century mark on the clock.
The Z cost me upper $40s new, but is PRICELESS now.
Thanks. Yeah i figured about the same. Ive been in the market for a Z for not too long and this one is very nice but the seller wont go under 24.5k. Guess ill havta keep looking.
Im thinking it may be better to just put mine back to stock and ask 22-23k. Id be happy with that because i know i can get 7-8k for my parts if i put it back to stock
if the parts are easily removed you will ALWAYS make more this way
modded cars get about .25 on the dollar, used parts are .50-70 on the dollar. you'll make a good chunk more, but, will have to sell piece by pice
as for the OP, an 04 with 57k in very good shape should be a low 20s car. at 20k it should sell quick, 21-22k not out of the question at all
a local dealer sold an 04 with 96k on it for 18k last year, private that would have been a 16-16.5k car most likely
completed ebay shows you what buys are actually paying
I bought my 03 Z06 2 months ago, 47,000 miles. LG Super Pro headers and X pipe, Vararam intake, tune and C6 Z06 replica chrome wheels for $20,500 out the door, taxes and tag paid for.
