I installed one on mine earlier this season, works like a charm.
I mounted the jack just above the cigarette lighter inside the ashtray compartment.
To us it all I do is play a song off the changer and plug my phone in. The jack basically substitutes the output from my cell phone for the output coming from the CD changer.

1- Ground
2-Left Channel - to the headunit
3-Left Channel - to the CD changer
4-Right Channel - to the CD changer
5-Right Channel - to the head unit
On the back of the radio you'll need to splice into 3 wires in the C2 connector. Pins 11, 12 and 13.
Cut wires 11 and 12, but on 13 just strip away some insulation.
1 - 13 BLK/WHT
2 - 11 BRN/WHT
3 - BRN/WHT to changer
4 - 12 DK GRN/WHT
5 - DK GRN/WHT to changer

An old USB extension cable can be cannibalized perfectly for this project. It has 4 wires plus a ground. Make sure it's a heavy duty cable so the wires inside it are big enough to work with. Just plug it into itself and cut it in the middle. Splice one end onto the jack, and the other end into the harness behind your radio.
it gives you an AUX input
You will be able to listen to anything including ipod with this setup.
you will just need a 3.5 male to 3.5 male cable from Radio Shack
put it into your phone like you were going to use headphones in this case your cars speakers are the head phones. You control the music from the source(your phone)
This kit does not charge anything unlike the ipod PXDP version that will also charge
