Another Auto to manual question
This is bugging me as I found a couple of threads before where one guy in Texas around where I live had a real good write up on doing this but now I cannot find it.
Basically I am looking for a parts list of what I need to do this. The car is an 04 Z51 car with an auto. I picked up a 04 z06 tranny and rear for cheap today. So as far as I know I need:
Torque Tube
Bellhousing
Clutch Assembly
Shifter, shifter boot, shift linkage
Brake pedal and clutch pedal
Clutch master cylinder
04 Torque tube harness for a manual so I don't have to hack my existing harness
Anything else? I found a guy locally that has an 01 and he said he'd sell all of that for $500. Even if I get all of that and buy an LS7 clutch kit, I'd be in the whole deal for under $1100. I have HPTuners to edit the tune. No I will not sell my car and buy one with a manual. That's not what I do. I like doing the work and learning new things.
