Default 99 C5 Cold Air Intake Suggestions ?

I recently purchased a stock 99 C5. It has 35K original miles.

I am putting on a Corsa Extreme Cat Back w/ XO Pipe and 3.5" tips exhaust system as my first mod.

What is the best cold air intake mod that you guys recomend?

I have one on mine. Very easy to install and not unreasonably priced. It won't make the performance gain compared to say a Vararam, but it also is not as time consuming to install.

I'm a Vararam fan. I've been running mine for years.

I love my Honker. Like the Vararam, a true CAI pulling air in from outside the engine bay. I went with the Honker because I really liked the OEM look, fit and finish as well as the gains. I also installed a Corsa X-pipe and thermal tunnel plate at the same time and the car really drives (and sounds) great!

A lightly-used Blackwing and cleaning kit for $125 has worked great for me.

I agree and it's a Callaway Honker, not a Calloway

I really like how vararam uses the opening in the front fascia...form and function.

Vararam here. I like to say all holes in the front bumper are functional.
