I have been lurking around here for the last 5 years reading, searching and having fun enjoying the forum. I'm a 20+ GM employee working for GMAC, GMPP and MIC inspecting physical and mechanical damage. I bought my AE in '07 with 11K on it and wanted to learn more about it and found you guys. Then I got bit by the mod bug, thanks guys. It started with a B&B cat back and went from there. Now the mods inlcude a Blackwing CAI, CNC'd Livernois Motorsports 243 heads, custom ground Comp cam & springs spec'd for my application, hardened pushrods, LS7 lifters & clutch, ARH headers, Xpipe and high flow cats, underdrive pulley, melling oil pump, LS6 valley plate and PCV system, LS2 timing chain and lifter trays, 42# injectors, custom HP tuning, 160 t/stat and HID headlamps and fog lamps. Next I plan to go with 4:10 gears, Z51 sway bars and upgrade the brakes. Then I'll be done, yea right! It put down right at 420 rwhp on a stingy dyno in 95 degree heat. Now to try to attach photos so here goes it.
I listened to them all before I chose the B&B PRTs. I love the way they are mellow at idle and light throttle and get aggressive when you do. I also like the way the ovals fill the exhaust opening.
I got the same ones I like them too , hey here's something that I did to them , I bought some mother's brand chrome polish in W mart last week so I went out today and gave it a try on the tips and mufflers too and results WoW! It worked like magic , shiny , spotless .... Later drove to the gym, and the temp outside was like in the low 50's and I tell u man I love the way they sound when it's cold out , they sound real quiet durring the hot days unless I step on it
I have some old Turtle wax chrome polish and hit them when I wash it and they look great when I'm done. I've used Mother's products in the past with good results as well.

Thanks for reading,

Very nice....now more pics and info of the Chevelle and how much will you sell it for?
Thanks to all for the compliments. She pulls like a friehgt train from about 3000 rpms up to 7000 rpms. Looks stock but the idle gives it away pretty quick.
I've had the Chevelle since high school. 427 bigblock, true SS 4 spd car - not for sale, sorry.

Nice car with some good mods.
I use the same Turtle wax chrome polish on my B&B tips also. Great results.
My B&B tips discolor quickly. They start with a yellowish then turn to some bluish almost like a heat discoloration. With the polish, it pretty much just wipes off without any rubbing, so I do it at least weekly. Do you have the same quick discoloration?
I have not noticed any discoloration. I had 4 bad valve seals and they used get sooty fast but cleaned up easily. Now, just around the edge of the tips get normal build up like the stock ones used to.
