fuel pump install gone bad
i have a 03 z06 with the c6 fuel pump assembly. well while in the process of dropping the tank the cross over pipe was being a pain the *** to get unhooked. decided to lower the transmission and rear end a little bit to get some more clearance. well after that i go up and touch the cross over pipe and the tank drops completely out of the car and breaks the nipple off the top of the hat that heads up to the motor.
my question is this. can we just put an adapter on the top hat of and run an inline fuel filter? or does the fuel filter in the top hat do something more than just filter the fuel?
