I would really like to help you, But in the title you say cargo net and in the post you say it's not a net, I have not seen any other devider from GM other than the net, It would really help to see pictures... Get creative and post a picture.
Mr.Bill
Haxzaw.........when I discovered my unopened cargo cover in one of the trunk compartments there were two additional, plastic screw-on "hooks" included in the pack, which you screw onto some obvious threaded studs located under the inside of the top of the rear fenders. These plastic screw-on "hooks" are identical to the bottom two that you already know about.

Ah, thank you. I didn't see any, but I'll have another look. If they're missing, they're probably pretty easy to buy somewhere.
If you lean into the cargo area, with a flashlight, and contort yourself so that your head is looking up and back into the rear fenders, you should see either the threaded studs, or the actual plastic hooks if someone has already installed them.
I have mine stored inside the driver's side floor panel in the trunk. Along with my flat tire repair kit, lock nut and extra fuses. After 8 years of ownership, I have never come close to using it. I see they go for $50 online.
MSG, you should install it, they make a cacophonous flapping noise when you drive with the top off.
I shouldn't be so hard on the cargo net. I actually use it to wrap up my extra supplies before I shove them into the trunk storage well. I own a vert, so I guess I can't experience the joy of hearing it flap around.
...but $50 new?! The Corvette tax is alive and well.
So I looked around the storage bins and found the hooks, then found the studs, so they are installed. I have no idea if I will ever use the cargo net, but I can see it being useful when my wife and I do some traveling. I do keep the sunshade installed, it is kind of nice to have.
Haxzaw, try it for a while, you may be surprised how much you use it.
I installed mine, and then thought, "I will never use this, I'll take it out in a few days". Then I found that I couldn't do without it. It keeps everything at the back where you can easily reach it, and of course prevents stuff from flying forward into the cabin when braking hard.
