Clear Corners and Switchbacks installed....
You got the crispiest Z brotha

Mr.Bill

BTW, what size and make of wheels do you have? And what tires are you running? They fit the car like a glove.
Charles

I got my clear corners off Ebay.
I'm not sure where to find out in your state.
I found this link for TX which states that its ok to have "white" front turn signals.
http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/RSD/VI/lighting.htm
Click on - Clear Tail Light Lenses... then scroll down to turn signal.
Hope this helps

Mr. Bill - so you have amber LEDs behind the front corner clear reflectors correct?

Neil as well as the other vendors ive dealt with here are top notch.
a friend of mine is about to pull the trigger on the entire setup as well
after seeing mine.
as for the install, i went the way Mr. Bill posted.....didnt have to raise the car, but prolly wouldn't have hurt lol. i removed the corner air dam pieces and the access doors (seven 7mm screws/side IIRC) and reached up in the cavity. since the car is so low, i had to just "feel" my way around, but there are two other 7mm screws near each end of the lens that need to be removed, 1/4 turn the bulb connectors from the lenses and then remove the lens. reverse the process and your good to go.
one thing i WILL mention re: the switchback bulbs is you have to fully seat them into the sockets. after i took the posted vid, the passenger side was acting intermittently and i had to take them back out to check. i noticed on the driver's side that the bulb was "farther" in to the connector. so i tried the original amber bulb and noticed it seated farther into the connector as well. so i reseated the pass. side, giving it a little extra "push" and they've been flawless since.
as for wheels, Charles, they are CCW T-10's (John, Chip, Melissa, etc. are another great vendor), 19 x 10 and 20 x 11's wrapped in Michelin PS2's, 275-30-19's and 305-25-20's.
good luck and post pics.

I had the same thing happen to me, if you don't push the Led bulbs in all the way, and its hard to do while you're laying under there, the bulb would light up white, but not switch over to amber with the turn signal on.

take a look at this thread where this problem is discussed with more details and pictures. Scroll down to post #9

So, it took awhile to figure out the best way to get the old lenses out, but after taking my time, here are the results:

My desire is for a California legal bulb system that looks like Mr Bill's above. White DRL's, white or yellow front turn signals when activated, and that yellow front side light that makes it all legal.
Also, is it possible to charge me extra for overnight arriving in Calif by Mon or Tues?
Many thanks...
