Default Chrome Depos

Hey fixed light fans. I am looking for good quality pics of chrome Depos, with unpainted lens covers, installed on a C5, particularly a red one.

I know some will want to criticize. I also know how great the stealth projectors look (for $1200 they had better -- but that's too rich for my blood). But, please resist temptation and just focus on the request!

I found the following in an old thread -- http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...mag0140vx.jpg/. That would work for me. Problem is, the picture quality is not good. I would love to see close-ups as well, including the infamous spider-web effect people are talking about.

Really appreciate the favor. My car came with poorly installed projectors which now cannot be properly aimed due to busted goldenrods. Stock fixes are very pricy and/or labor intensive so I am considering the affordable (used) Depo route, at least for the time being.

Thanks.

Just a tip, the stock lights sell pretty good, and it offsets the initial price

????

I have no idea what you mean since I do not plan on selling my semi-wrecked stock lights anyway. Nor do I plan on selling the car anytime soon since it will be a DD for the next 4 years or so.

I really don't need tips. This is my 3rd Vette in 7 years -- I've probably bought and sold 30 used cars in my lifetime, and I know what I like. My standards are not NCRS or show-car...otherwise maybe I would have asked for tips instead of pictures...

I bubba-fixed the pop-ups to be somewhat functional, and can live with them, but I want to see some chrome Depos, up close, on dark (preferably red) C5's. I already like the look, which is common to dozens of more contemporary cars (NSX http://www.conceptcarz.com/view/phot...NSX_Photo.aspx and SLK http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicl...K/model-SLK250 to name 2). I just want to see if the quality and fit are so bad I'll hate them on my DD.

Thanks, Tastee --

For some reason, the chrome ones don't look "bugeyed" to me which is why I kinda like them. And, they really work well with the polished Z06 wheels (my wheels are chromed and might work even better).

Is this yours? If so, how are the lenses holding up over time? And, how's the light?

I know you are looking for Chrome on Red, but I have Black going on TR in a couple days. They are getting painted as we speak so will have some pictures of them here soon.

Lens look good parks in a garage and keep clean. Also to get them to look right I used a dermal on brackets to get to right placement with panels.
Little adjustment on lights, lighting is better than stock might try HIDs in them later on.
